Charlie is the dog I have now. He is a 3 year old beagle. He is sassy and very moody. We got him on valentines day. It was a surprise from my dad (step-dad). On that day my dad said get in the car we are going to go get a dog. We drove out to the place and where looking at all the puppies. My dad told the guy he wanted a beagle and they took this little scared changing beagle out. He was a little older than the other dogs and so cute. We looked at all the other dogs and my dad almost got a lab in tell the lab bit his hand when he pet and that's when my dad said we will take the beagle. And he came home with us.
When we got home my little sister Aubrey wanted to see if he would stay in the yard like are other dog
Sulley. Needless to say my sister was running and then had to climb under our porch to get our new dog charlie. When we got him inside and he saw sully he instill was by his side. All he know was other dogs. Sulley was old and a little toy poodle (I know toy poodle and a rottweiler weird). He learned a lot from Sulley and sometimes thought Sulley was a chew toy. When Sulley died two months later Charlie looked for him for days. He could till we all where sad was extra good.
Once everything got normal again after Sulley died, Charlie started teething. He was chewing on everything. He got one of my shoes and one of Aubrey's shoes. He got two pairs of my moms glasses. He chewed on a few chairs and the dining room table. Now he has lots of bones and chew toys. He has stopped chewing everything but his toys.
He does have a new thing now. He can get out of almost everything. In the back yard he can get under the fence in two spots. When he gets out he runs in the road and everywhere. It takes forever to get him back inside. He can also get out of his cage if the bottom one is not latched. Then he gets into things when no one is home. He thinks its all a game and loves every second of it.
He also loves blankets. He thinks all of blankets and my bed is his. My mom lets him sleep in all day when I'm gone. He sleeps under the covers most of the time by the persons feet. If he is being really moody he takes the whole blanket and does not share with anybody. That's just a little bit about beagle there is not enough words to describe him.
